Naomi Stark is a member of the New York State Bar and a graduate of Yale Law School. She is a trained full-spectrum doula, certified lactation counselor, and a volunteer abortion doula.
Naomi recently served as a Legal Fellow at the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) in the Office of the General Counsel to develop a proposal for piloting the city’s first government-run Medical-Legal Partnership. Prior to that, Naomi was a member of the Commissioner’s Special Operations Team at DOHMH and served on the Biden-Harris Campaign Health Policy Committee and COVID-19 Special Briefings Team.
While in law school, Naomi served as a student fellow at Yale Law School’s Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy, and as a member of the Reproductive Rights and Justice Project Legal Clinic and Medical Legal partnership Clinic.
Naomi previously worked at Quartet Health, a company leveraging technology to improve mental healthcare delivery, and conducted health policy and ethics research at the Hastings Center for Bioethics Research and the Georgetown Health Policy Institute Center for Children and Families. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with an M.A. and B.A. in Philosophy of Science and Bioethics.
